Sisters of the Light Founders
Hello & Welcome
Meet the Sisters of the Light Founders
Sherry Haferkamp-Watson
Healer, Visionary
Sherry received her doctorate in clinical psychology and is active in her Christian faith. She has been assisting others on their healing path, helping them find their God-given purpose and life mission, through traditional methods. She found that the spiritual components to healing are often overlooked or minimized. Which leads to navigating one of two ways; through traditional religious instruction or venturing out alone. Both having pros and cons, of course. She had a vision prior to the coming together as SOTL and felt impressed to work with a group of spiritual women warriors, who were not afraid to question, collaborate, debate, and learn from each other. Together, with SOTL she hopes to offer a solid base for teaching and inspiration, for those seeking to dive deeper into their internal and personal growth, healing, and rediscovery of who we truly were created to be.
Marza Millar-Grandmother Two Clouds
Herbal Studies, Earth Wisdom, Energy Healing
Marza, (Two Clouds), holds the birth rite of her father’s Elders, the Wind Creek Tribe of Arizona. After receiving education and working in allopathic medicine for two decades, Marza returned to her roots based in alternative and herbal medicine. Marza works and specializes in Vibrational Biodynamic Medicines, Geopathics, Geomancy, Energy Frequency Healing, Vibrational Medicines, and Shamanic Healing for the last 40 years, while teaching nationally and internationally. Her work has taken her from deep into the Andes with Dr Emoto, to the Inca Elders, into the Arctic Circle to work with the Siberian Yupik, to the tops of the Hopi Mesa’s, into the Great Pyramid and to the steps of ancient Egyptian Temples.
Desiree Mitchell
Wholistic Educator, Healer
Desiree joins us with her multiplicity of experience in many fields from the traditional to the alternative. From a very young age, she wanted to “help make the world a better place.” Working towards this end, she chose to do what she could to support and empower people, thru Medicine and Counseling, in the process, hoping to help others find peace through her practice. This continues to be a big part of her life’s goals. She was drawn to SOTL because of this common thread she shares with all the Founder Sisters for this healing path. Her awareness of being a perpetual student, she knows her learning never ends. With that in mind, she is ever striving towards personal and professional growth, while supporting others in finding their purpose and passion through kindness and love.
Ekna Hue
The Law of One
Ekna was born in Mexico and brought to the United States when she was 6 months old. Like many of us, Ekna felt disheartened after living more than thirty plus years on this planet. Witnessing what humans do to the earth and eachother, she decided to isolate herself on the mountains of the Patagonia for a year. There she studied The Law of One and fell in love with life again. After learning that the fastest way to spiritual growth was to learn from each other, she reincorporated herself into “society.” She shares the knowledge that we are mirrors of each other.
Michaela Carozza
Earth Steward, Embodied Movement
Michaela is a conduit between the earth and the spirit realms on a life mission to anchor light. As a decades long student of yoga, dance and martial arts, she intuitively practices embodied movement in nature as a spiritual devotion. Being a member of Sisters of the Light has been a fortuitous blessing on her path to serve creator. She is passionate about sustainable living, animal rescue and serving her community as a Children's Librarian. She operates an Eco retreat with her husband in California.
